Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day, saying, "I will try again tomorrow." - Anonymous

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist * Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
There is a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in.
Welcome to my psychotherapy practice! I am a dual-licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) and Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and am certified in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I have worked in social services and mental health clinics in Yolo and Sacramento Counties for over 25 years. I have experience working with diverse ethnic and socio-economic populations with a variety of needs and stressors and I am humbled to witness courage, tenderness, creativity and tenacity on a daily basis.
Emotional pain in any form may seem insurmountable at times. Through psychotherapy, there is opportunity to address immediate needs and space for healing that may require more time to process. Areas of focus may include:
Stress, Anxiety & Phobias
Grief & Loss
Trauma & PTSD
Attachment, Relationships & Co-Dependence
Self-Esteem & Self Acceptance
Sexuality & Gender Identity
Life Transitions & Adjustments
Quality psychotherapy is a collaborative effort that includes a variety of goals and interventions. Being an integrative therapist, I have found truth in many therapeutic orientations and do not believe one suits all; therefore, I adapt my approach to meet your needs. Some of the treatment modalities from which I draw include Attachment, Existential, Acceptance, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Systems, Cognitive Behavioral and other insight-oriented approaches. I believe you know what you need most and as such, I respond to your needs as you present them.
I offer a warm and supportive atmosphere rich with self-discovery, humility, laughter, hope and common ground in the throes of daily challenges. My goal is to help you through this journey.
